Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in the Economics Department at Cornell University. My broad areas of interest are banking, macro-finance, and international finance. I am on the job market and will be available for interviews at the ASSA meetings in Atlanta.
My research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics, banking, and international finance. In particular, I study the transmission of macroeconomic shocks to the real economy through the banking sector.
My job market paper uses a unique currency appreciation episode from Switzerland to document a novel channel of transmission of exchange rate fluctuations to real economic activity through the balance sheets of banks.
