Welcome! I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in May 2019 and I will be joining the University of British Columbia (Sauder School of Business) as an assistant professor this summer. My broad areas of interest are banking, macro-finance, and international finance.
My job market paper uses a unique currency appreciation episode from Switzerland to document a novel channel of transmission of exchange rate fluctuations to real economic activity through the balance sheets of banks.
